About Us

Josh was born in Springfield, Missouri and grew up in the Springfield area. He felt the Lord calling him to missions at the age of 19 and graduated from Central Bible College in 2001 with a degree in Missions. After graduation, Josh served as youth pastor and later as associate pastor at Forest Avenue A/G in Springfield. He began working at the Assemblies of God Headquarters in 2005, which is where he met Carmen. Josh enjoys running, reading and spending time with Carmen and their daughter, Emma.

Carmen was born and raised in southeast Kansas. The Lord gave her a burden for Cambodia when she was 14. She studied Cross-Cultural Missions at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. After graduation, she moved to Springfield, Missouri and started working at the Assemblies of God Headquarters in 2002. Carmen was blessed to spend a summer in Cambodia in 2003 that confirmed the calling God placed on her heart as a teenager. In 2005 some 'matchmaking' friends introduced her to Josh... and the rest is history! Josh & Carmen were married on September 2, 2006.

Emma was born at 6:26am on June 28, 2008 in Springfield, Missouri. She weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces & was 22 inches long. We're SO blessed because she loves to sleep 10-12 hours every night! Emma's favorite food is pizza. She is a sweet little girl who melts hearts every Sunday. Emma constantly keeps us entertained... we never know what she is going to say next! The latest thing that made us chuckle is that she now calls every man she sees wearing a tie, "PASTOR"! We know God's hand is on her & we can't wait to see all the great things He has planned for her life.
